HARD RADIO IN
S.O.S. The SPIRITS OF SOUND...
This is the band I joined around the time of May/June 97. We then played Guildford Festival in August 97, (the concert had Jethro Tull and The Levellers playing on the bill). We played Nirvana's 'ABOUT A GIRL' to start then 3 originals 'Rock and Roll Star', 'Teddy Bear', and the then not so good 'Planet Earth'.
Around the beginning of 98, I can't remember when, we went into the studio and came out with the album below.
The Summer of 98 we
played at Brookland's College at the Battle Of The
Bands. We Played 4 songs...
1. Paranoid (Black
Sabbath)
2. In Bloom (Nirvana)
3. Free Will (Spirits Of
Sound)
4. Planet Earth (Spirits
of Sound)
4 bands entered and we came second in the competition to the college band who won and took the £200 prize money.
Well I hope you like the album, sorry about the quality. I am currently playing the drums with a few mates that get together now and then but I am not playing in the Spirits Of Sound because I left the band due to mutual disagreements.
